As the time is passing the demand of trained nurses is increasing especially for those nurses those are skilled and posse's higher education. And with increasing cost of health care nursing career is in great demand.

According to a survey conducted by American bureau of health care the majority believes that by 2020 the demand for nurses will touch the 1.7 million mark. And only 635000 nurses will be available. Hence the survey has found that nursing career is the top most seeing the maximum growth till the year 2014.

It means that with a four year degree in nursing you are there with maximum salary than any field and with more schooling you can earn up to $100000 per annum.

Nursing career is very flexible. You can work in hospital, nursing homes, rehabilitation centre, with private practitioner, physician, in industries and businesses or in school. You have plenty of opportunities.

You can work in:

  1. Assisting medical specialist like surgeon.
  2. Pursuing independent careers, such as legal nurse consultant, medical writer etc.
  3. Joining medical, nursing team.
  4. Teaching aspiring nurses.
  5. Working in community health clinics.
  6. Working with health care, insurance and medical business.
  7. Etc. there are lots of options.

Nursing is a challenging career and takes a lot of doing. Nursing jobs comprises of changing bandage, changing IV's, giving medication, administrative, management or research roles.
